**Update December 2025*

Hello everyone, it's been a while since our last update so we'd like to catch up on a few things going on. The last few months have been a bit of a challenge and our time and attention had been focused elsewhere for which we apologise. The good news is after all this time we have finally been able to submit our Dealer Licence Application paperwork to the FAR so hopefully the wait is nearly over. We hope to hear something back from them in the new year and we'd love to reopen early in 2026 if possible. It's been a long wait, had a few hiccups along the way but things are slowly happening.

 

We're working on a new website to launch before we reopen with some information on the services we'd like to offer, what we'd like to do moving forward and how we'd like to operate from our new location. 

 

We'll be back with more after the Christmas break, and we look forward to servicing your firearms again soon. We hope everyone has a merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Shepherd Arms is a gunsmithing business with over 5 years experience providing a variety of gunsmithing services focusing on firearms refinishing, restoration and customization. We are a small team trained at a Gunsmithing College in Colorado USA, and we're located in the Hunter Valley Region of NSW.

We are proud to offer quality gunsmithing services at a reasonable price and If you're not satisfied with a job, then neither are we!  Some of our services include metal restoration with Cerakote and Duracoat finishes, Express Rust Bluing, Stock Repair, Bedding and Refinishing. We also do some machining work for fitting barrels, muzzle brakes and sight bases.
